Jacob's Coat progress

Seven blocks finished!! I am having lots of fun putting these blocks together.

This afternoon I got out the rest of the petals I have cut out and started playing with arranging some more blocks.

Here is the general idea of the effect I am trying to achieve.

Eight more spool blocks this week.

My daphne has started to bloom.

Happy Birthday to my sister in law; a fellow quilter!

  10. Your JC is so pretty. It reminds me of the waters here in NW Florida. Our beaches are white sand and the waters are beautiful blue/aqua. Can't wait to see more. I finished one Klosje - I'll post soon. Thanks for inspiring me to keep at it.

  17. I love your Joseph's Coat blocks. Of course, that has a lot to do with the fact that I love the colors. Just looking at those colors is a wonderful blood pressure depressor--and the J.C. pattern can keep the mind busy a long time.
    Beautiful!

  22. Hi Miriam
Love the colours of your Joseph's coat, would so love to be able to grow Daphne here, we always had a huge bush right outside my bedroom window as a child growing up and I always used to take bunches to the teacher.
Hope all is well with you
