Where those Le Moyne stars went.....

Today I finally got all the Le Moyne Stars on my Antique Quilt!!! As the Janiacs say, its not perfect, but its done! A good press will help and some of the mismatched points may still bug me enough for me to unpick the stitching and do them again. Excuse the toes at the bottom of the photo!

Yesterday I made Pumpkin Spice Cake. The recipe came from here. I had never cooked pumpkin as a sweet before. Thank you Kim, for a yummy recipe!!

  3. OMGosh Miriam, that is just BEAUTIFUL!! Will it have another border? Is this just one block in a series? I was looking for a link for more info on your AQ but couldn't find one, thus I have many questions, because I have a horrible memory LOL.

  6. The quilt is looking so good! it really looks antique too.
The cake looks wonderful but too much icing for me - I always put about half the frosting on that a recipe calls for or even less.

  13. Hi from the Netherlands! Your AQ looks beautiful! I happened to have the same bit of extra space in the starborder. An extra quiltingstitch will sort that out I hope. Tomorrow I will put mine on my blog. Would love when you are able to pay a visit. have a nice day! Hugs. Danielle
