Here is my medallion quilt so far:
Just 2 half in borders completed. The background fabric will make another half inch border after I have squared the project up with a row of triangles top and bottom.
I have also finished 3 more Civil War quilt blocks.
Just one more block to make and I will have caught up.
I have found a new fabric line that will be coming out before the end of the year. If you like Margo Krager's chintz centre panels, you will probably like this! :)
Happy sewing. :)
Your medallion fabric is gorgeous Miriam, as is that new Andover fabric! Love the blocks. That cross one is nice I wouldn't mind trying that. See you in the morning!! xo
ReplyDeleteThe chintz Repro is beautiful, I think the medalion will be an exciting project too. I'dheard about the John Hewson fabric, I think I need some.
ReplyDeleteI will be following your progress closely and with enthusiasm, Miriam - I'm sure you will enjoy!

ReplyDeleteYour medallion quilt is coming along nicely and that fabric is amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love you CW blocks...I need to get back to mine.
Oh and where are you and Cathy going tomorrow? Hmmm?? I wish I was going with you guys.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I can't wait to see this quilt in progress. Your fabrics are so beautiful! Are you doing the medallion quilt-a-long with Meridithe and Jan? (And guess what? The Ruby FINALLY arrived and it's already winging it's way to you -- keep an eye on the post!)
ReplyDeleteNice start! Looking forward to the next progress report!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to follow your progress, Miriam! I bought one of the larger panels, but I think I'll have to get this one too, as it was my second favorite.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful panel and I love the colours and your CW blocks Miriam.
ReplyDeleteYour Medallion quilt will be gorgeous as always! Your Civil War blocks are so pretty too!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Donna
Your medallion quilt is off to a great start. I bought one of the panels too but will probably just save it.
ReplyDeleteExcited about the Winterthur Hewson fabrics, it was amazing to see the original at Winterthur 2 weeks ago - heaven.
