More Starry Path blocks
Yesterday I finished 5 more starry path blocks.
Here are all my completed blocks so far..
Do you notice the difference between the first 4 blocks and the 5 new ones?
I'm blaming my heat adled brain, but I managed to make the new blocks a mirror image of the first 4 blocks!!!!
I have made myself a note (using large letters!) as a reminder so I don't do that again! Lol
I'm planning to make 25 blocks in total (I should have just enough of that text fabric) with the next 16 blocks the same way around as the original blocks! Wish me luck! Lol!!!
In keeping with the celestial theme here a a few photos from fireworks celebrating Chinese New Year last weekend.
Lastly, especially for Brandie, some more roses from my garden.

Such pretty--and complicated looking--blocks--loving that text fabric. I envy you those roses--we had 6" of snow covered with 2 more inches of ice today! i am SO DONE WITH SNOW!! hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteyou have a heat addled brain - I have a cold addled brain! I'm tired of winter
ReplyDeleteThose blocks look a bit like fireworks spinning. I think it'll be fun to have a few blocks going a different way, it's not obvious until you point it out and it makes you take a second look. That is such a beautiful rose, I can smell the rose scent from the photo.
ReplyDeleteHonestly if you hadn't mentioned it , I really had to look. I'm sure that's how you meant them to look. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteBlocks look great and your rose is beautiful. :)
ReplyDeletehave a great day!
Before I even scrolled down the first thing I thought of is Fireworks!!! They wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't tell - I'd have been staring at them a LONG time if you hadn't pointed it out :0) I think they look great! I LOVE your roses - so very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you the roses, I can almost smell them!
ReplyDeleteThose stars really do look like fireworks! Good luck on keeping things straight!
Great blocks - so dynamic - they look like they are dancing together! Funny how easy it is to make a change in direction Lol... but no problem as you have placed them. Divine roses - love the ones with frilly petals.

I can just imagine the rose perfume too. Love them but I'm no good at growing them.
ReplyDeleteThe star block is a lovely block, I might give it a go.
Your blocks look like a challenge but awesome looking. Love the roses, so nice of you to share them.
ReplyDeleteYour stars are wonderful! I think the reversed ones will add interest to the finished quilt. Thanks for the rose photos too . . . my rose bushes are buried under snow and ice.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks really do look like spinning fireworks. I like the fact that they are going different directions. You might have to keep going, some one way and then the other.
