Menonite quilt cleaning question.

I wonder if any of my readers can help, please.  A friend of mine was given a Menonite quilted wall hanging some time ago.

She would like to clean the wall hanging and would like to know how best to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. :)

Throw it in the washing machine. 40 degrees... does the job. Oh and if its really dusty make sure she puts conditioner as well. Smells lovely and fresh. Quilts are made to be washed, whether on the wall or on a bed.

  2. unless it says "do not wash" I would wash it as any other quilt. I assume it is hand quilted? All of mine are hand quilted and I wash and dry as any other.

  3. I too am a machine washer. I sometime use delicate cycle then do an extra spin.
