This is Vincent Gilpn Stubbs' block.
A fair bit of fiddly sewing around all the flowers, but I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
The red fabric (Piccotage designed by Fabric Freedom, London) was a gift from a friend and I think the design adds great movement to the block.
I hope everyine is having a great weekend. Are you finding some stitching time?
Your block turned out great! Nice stitching and I do like that flower fabric! I;m looking forward to next month's block. How about you?

ReplyDeleteI started hand quilting a little quilt last night. It's snowing here this morning - very unusual for this time of year - so I hope to put in some stitches this afternoon. Perfect weather to sit under a quilt no matter the size.
OMGosh what a wonderful quilt. Lovin' your first block and looking forward to seeing this quilt take shape. Your applique of all those little curves is amazing.
