The Last Day of Summer.

It was a dull day today, but we decided to go for a drive down the Mornington Peninsula for a day by the beach. Afterall, it is the last day of summer for us. The photo above is from the bay side of the peninsula, looking south. (Blairgowrie beach)

The photo below is taken just a few minutes drive across the peninsula on the ocean side. (Koonya beach)

Today the bay was quite calm, a big contrast to the ocean side.

This rock formation is called London Bridge and is a little further down the peninsula near Portsea ocean beach.

Just 2 more little houses to add to the collection.

Happy sewing. :)

  5. Miriam, that rock formation is unique. Thanks for sharing. Very neat. Your houses are fabulous and I super duper dig the chimney's on the 2nd house. Neat how that came out. Of course they're both wonderful - just sharing what caught my eye. Thank you for putting together this great post and have a great day. *karendianne. who is taking a break from prepping her class appliqué block. :)
